Vendors should carry their own liability insurance.
(Acknowledgement of risk of injury clause): “As a participant in the Grand Isle Garage Sale, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury and agree to assume full risk of all injuries, including death, damages, or loss which I or my employee(s) or volunteers may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities with or associated with this event.”
(Release from liability clause): “I do hereby fully release and discharge the Town of Grand Isle, the Grand Isle Port Commission, the Grand Isle Community Development Team and their respective Officers, Board Members, Directors, Employees, and agents, from any and all liability, damages, costs and expenses arising out of or related to any bodily injuries or accidents which may occur during or as a result of my participation in this event, and other officers, agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims from injuries, including death, damage or loss which I or my employee(s) or volunteers may have or what may accrue to me or my employee(s) or volunteers on account of my participation in this event.”
The Town of Grand Isle, the Grand Isle Port Commission, the Grand Isle Community Development Team and other officers, agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims resulting from injuries, including death, damages and losses sustained by me or my employee(s) or volunteers and arising out of, connected with or in any way associated with the activities of the event.”
(Waiver of claim for injury claims): “I agree to waive and relinquish all claims I or my employee(s) or volunteers may have as a result of participating in this event against the Town of Grand Isle, the Grand Isle Port Commission, the Grand Isle Community Development Team and their officers, agents, servants and employees.”
